The Skaneateles Football Club is a non-profit organization focused on maximizing the opportunity for the youth of our area to have rewarding and fulfilling experiences through participation in organized football and cheerleading programs.  Our primary focus is on the development of successful youth football and cheerleading programs.  But, we're willing to help wherever help is needed.

Translation?  We're a group of like-minded folks who are too old to actually play football.  Way too old.  Well, we could play, but it would hurt. However, we do remember - that special coach that taught important life lessons we still rely on to this day - getting knocked down and learning to get back up EVERY TIME - showing up to practice every day to make sure we didn't let our teammates down.

Sometimes lessons were learned through success; however, the most important often came through failure.  On a good night, maybe it was that throw that found its mark under the lights on a Friday night to win a game.  On a bad night, it was sitting in a locker room with your brothers and sisters vowing not to let happen again.  EVER.

The entire experience of competitive football and cheerleading is unique, special, and helps shape young lives, generally for the better. We are doing everything we can to ensure the kids in our community have that same opportunity.
